With the help of Suryakumar Yadav (56) and Rinku Singh's (68*), India reached the total of 180/7 in (19.3) overs as rain had interrupted the proceedings. South Africa, in response, were set a revised target of (152) in (15) overs that they achieved in (13.5) overs with five wickets in hand. Reeza Hendriks started off well for the team with his impressive array of shots as he scored (49). Aiden Markram gave the team a positive hand with his 30-run knock to take the team over the line. With the help of this win, South Africa are leading the three-match series 1-0.
