NZ vs BAN 3rd ODI: New Zealand aim series whitewash as Bangladesh hope for a positive finish

New Zealand and Bangladesh are scheduled to face each other in the third and final ODI on Saturday ( December 23, 3:30 AM (IST) at McLean Park. New Zealand have already won the first two games to have already clinched the series victory, leading it by (2-0). Black Caps won the first and second game by (44) runs (DLS) and (7) wickets respectively. In the second game, there was an intense competition being recorded from both sides. Bangladesh batter Soumya Sarkar had scored (169) runs to be the only mainstay to direct the side to a moderate total of (291). In their chase of the total, New Zealand received a good scoring from their openers Will Young (89) and Rachin Ravindra (45) respectively. In the middle-order, Henry Nicholls hammered 95 runs to guide the team to a 7-wicket win. New Zealand will hope to finish the series on a positive note while Bangladesh would want to end the series on a good note after having lost first two games. After the ODI series, both teams are scheduled to lock horns in the three-match T20I series that will get underway from December 27.
