Bangladesh, chasing the target, won the game in the space of 15.1 overs with Najmul Hossain Shanto scoring 51 unbeaten to take the team over the line. Anamul Haque too made massive contribution with 37 runs. This is for the first time that Bangladesh have beaten New Zealand in New Zealand in ODIs.
