As Australia and New Zealand gear up for the showdown in the third and final T20I match on Sunday at Eden Park, there is huge anticipation running high with Australia leading the series 2-0. The third and final T20I holds a significant importance as Australia currently lead the three-match series 2-0.

The Australian team has displayed remarkable courage throughout the series, dominating the field with exceptional performances from key players like skipper Mitchell Marsh, Tim David and Travis Head. The Australian squad has showcased a blend of experience and youthful energy, leaving the opposition struggling to keep pace. Young Tim David has made a big mark in the series.

Furthermore, the Australian bowling attack, led by likes of Pat Cummins and Adam Zampa, has been relentless, making it challenging for the New Zealand batsmen to settle in and build partnerships.

With everything to play for, New Zealand would be expected to come out stronger in a bid to record their consolation victory. New Zealand will be eager to upset the odds and salvage some pride with a victory in the concluding match. A win for Australia would not only seal their dominance in the series but also bolster their confidence ahead of the T20I World Cup. On the other hand, a win for New Zealand would serve as a morale booster.

NZ Probable XI: Finn Allen (wk), Tim Seifert, Will Young, Glenn Phillips, Mark Chapman, Josh Clarkson, Mitchell Santner (c), Adam Milne, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult, Ben Sears

AUS Probable XI: Matt Short, Steven Smith, Mitchell Marsh (c), Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis, Tim David, Matthew Wade (wk), Pat Cummins, Nathan Ellis, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood
