PSL 2024: Karachi Kings look to sign off with a win as they face Peshawar Zalmi

As the Pakistan Super League (PSL) gradually approaches its final leg, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings are gearing up for a gripping encounter, scheduled to be played on Monday at National Stadium Karachi. The match promises to be a great showdown with Peshwar Zalmi looking to fine-tune their performance having advanced to the playoffs.
Karachi Kings, having faced many setbacks, have been eliminated from the tournament as they hope to end their PSL campaign on a gritty note. Their mixed journey in the tournament denied them the place into playoffs. Kings, however, won their last game against Lahore Qalandars, hoping to carry on with the same enthusiasm to salvage the pride.
Currently, Karachi Kings sit on the fifth position in the points table with four victories and five defeats from their nine games. Heading into this game, Karachi Kings will be eager to secure a victory against Peshawar Zalmi to finish their campaign confidently.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi, led by the charismatic Babar Azam, have been incredibly boisterous in this season of the PSL, having clinched five victories from nine games. They are on the third spot in the points table with 11 points and the positive NRR of +0.148. They have already qualified for the playoffs with their resounding victories during the course of tournament.
Skipper Babar Azam has been impeccable playing match-winning knocks for the team. Peshawar Zalmi will head into this game on the back of their victory against Quetta Gladiators in their last game.
