PAK vs NZ 4th T20I: New Zealand skittle Pakistan, take 2-1 lead

In a nail-biting encounter, New Zealand emerged victorious on Friday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, beating Pakistan by 4 runs in the fourth T20I of the five-match series, and showcasing an exhilarating display of cricketing prowess. With this win, New Zealand have taken a 2-1 lead in the series, setting the stage for an intense final showdown.
Asked to bat, New Zealand set a formidable target of 178, with Tim Robinson cracking his fifty (51 off 36). Dean Foxcroft and Tom Blundell, scoring (34) and (28) respectively, provided little help in team’s valuable win.
Chasing the target, Pakistan fell short of the target, managing to score 174 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Despite Fakhar Zaman’s valiant 61, Pakistan couldn’t go past the target. On the other hand, New Zealand bowlers maintained their composure, chipping in with crucial breakthroughs and tightening the screws on the Pakistan's batting lineup.
Will O,Rourke and Ben Sears returned with three and two wickets each. The fifth and final T20I will be held on Saturday at the same venue.
