West Indies find themselves in a hazardous position following a disappointing defeat against England in their opening match of the Super Eight stage. West Indies find themselves under immense pressure to secure a victory in their next match that is against USA on Saturday (6:00 AM IST). USA have proven to be a formidable opponent in the tournament, making it to the Super Eight on the back of their hard-fought victories. West Indies are eying their first T20I World Cup title on home soil but the task seems to be difficult with other challenging teams vying for the prestigious title.

Heading into this game, West Indies will have to find a way to challenge their opponent in all situations. West Indies are also in need to replace top-order batter Brandon King who suffered injury during the England game.

The loss to England has put the West Indies in a must-win situation. The match against USA becomes a pivotal moment in their campaign, determining whether they can keep their hopes of advancing alive.

USA team has shown remarkable signs but they’ve not been able to come to terms since their humongous victory against Pakistan .Their performance in the tournament thus far has been surprising, but West Indies having big hitters will be a strong opponent to manage. Cautiously, West Indies will be aware that USA are not to be underestimated.

For West Indies, the key to victory lies in their ability to harness their strengths and address the weaknesses exposed in their game against England. USA, on the other hand, will aim to capitalize on the advantage that West Indies are coming off a defeat. USA will once again be led by Aaron Jones after Monank Patel still continues to recover from a shoulder injury.
