LPL 2024: Galle Marvels face Colombo Strikers

In the fifth match of the ongoing Lanka Premier League, Galle Marvels will be taking on Colombo Strikers on Wednesday at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. Galle Marvels are coming off a win, obliterating Jaffna Kings by five wickets in the second match of the tournament. Galle Marvels would hope to make good use of the momentum and eye second consecutive victory in the tournament. 

On the other hand, Colombo Strikers also recorded an unblemished start to their campaign, registering a huge 51-run win against Kandy Falcons in the third match of the tournament. Both teams are riding a momentum, making this clash a massive showdown. 

For Galle Marvels, all eyes will be on Alex Hales and Niroshan Dickwella as both of whom smoked 65 and 47 respectively in the last game. For Colombo Strikers, they enjoyed collective efforts because of which they romped to a big win. Heading into this game, Strikers would expect the entire team to continue with the form.
