IND-W vs SA-W 1st T20I: World Cup preparations in sight as India lock horns with South Africa

The Indian Women's cricket team is gearing up to face off against South African Women in the first T20I match of a three-match series, scheduled to be played on July 6 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. This encounter marks the final leg of South Africa Women's tour of India, a tour that has seen the India dominating South Africa squarely.
The Indian Women’s team has been in tremendous form throughout the series. They displayed their prowess by completing a clean sweep in the preceding three-match ODI series. The whitewash in ODIs not only boosted their confidence but also helped them extend their dominance on South Africa. Additionally, India secured a big 10-wicket victory in the one-off Test match, further underlining their dominance over the South African side.
Indian players have been remarkably consistent in their performances, producing impactful performances and ensuring India’s pivotal success. India’s batting and bowling units have handled the pressure very smartly to keep South Africa away from wins. Heading into the T20Is, India will look to maintain their winning momentum and continue their dominance.
On the other hand, South Africa will be eager to turn the tide in the T20I series. Despite their struggles in the ODIs and One-Off Test, they have the formidable squad capable of challenging the Indian team. South Africa would hope to put up a fight against robust India to end their tour on a high note.
