ENG vs WI 3rd Test: England target whitewash as West Indies desperately eye a win

England and West Indies are set to face each other in the third and final Test match of their series, beginning from 26th July at Edgbaston, Birmingham. England are leading the three-match series 2-0, having already secured victories in the first two Tests. With the series already won, England will be aiming for a series whitewash.
England have been incredibly dominant in the past two Tests, overpowering West Indies squarely and not allowing them to build pressure. Their victories in the first and second Test match were massively huge, putting West Indies on the ropes. England won the first game by an innings and 114 runs, while they registered victory in the second game by 241 runs.
Ollie Pope, Joe Root and Harry Brook played the starring roles in the second game in the batting department, while Shoaib Bashir was instrumental in the bowling attack, claiming two and five wickets wickets in first and second innings respectively. The trio of Ollie Pope, Joe Root and Harry Brook slammed their centuries in the second game to fill England with runs.
On the other hand, West Indies will be looking to salvage their pride by winning the final Test. Although the series outcome is already decided, a victory in the last match would be a positive note for the team, giving them something to cheer upon. The final Test promises to be a hard-fought battle as both teams have strong motivations to perform well.
