The Sri Lankan players Wanindu Hasaranga and Nuwan Thusara will not be available for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in CPL 2024 due to their injuries sustained during the white-ball series against India. Nuwan Thusara had already been ruled out of the series in its entirety with a finger injury, while Hasaranga played the T20I series and first ODI.

To replace Hasaranga and Tushara, Nevis Patriots have signed South African duo Tabraiz Shamsi and Anrich Nortje respectively. Both are major figures in South African cricket and possess great skills. Nortje is a novice to CPL, while Shamsi is quite familiar with the league, having played 32 games, 27 of which for Patriots.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots squad: Kyle Mayers, Tabraiz Shamsi, Rilee Rossouw, Evin Lewis, Sherfane Rutherford, Sikandar Raza, Anrich Nortje, Andre Fletcher, Tristan Stubbs, Dominic Drakes, Mikyle Louis, Odean Smith, Joshua da Silva, Veerasammy Permaul, Ryan John, Ashmead Nedd, Johann Layne
