Afghanistan name squad for One-Off Test vs New Zealand

Afghanistan have announced their squad for the upcoming one-off Test against New Zealand, set to get underway on September 9 in Greater Noida, India. Afghanistan in their squad have named three uncapped players in Riaz Hassan, Shams Ur Rahman and Khalil Ahmed.  Afghanistan are already without Rashid khan, who has been advised to take a break from the longest format of the game. 

Fast bowler Naveed Zadran has also been ruled out due to a side strain. Hashmatullah Shahidi will be leading Afghanistan in the presence of Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmat Shah and Azmatullah Omarzai. All-rounder Gulbadin Naib, who was part of the preliminary squad, has missed out on selection.
