Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana will fly back home to Pakistan following the death of her father on October 10 in Karachi. According to reports, Muneeba Ali will serve as the stand-in skipper in the absence of Fatima Sana. Sana is likely to miss Pakistan’s next match, which is against Australia on Friday in Dubai.

So far, Pakistan Women have recorded one victory from two matches they have played. Pakistan are now in dire need of securing victories in their remaining two games to have the chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.

They kicked off their campaign on a winning note, but they lost to India in their next game. However, they have a good chance of qualifying for the semi-finals. Sana was pivotal in helping the team secure victory over Sri Lanka with her crucial 30-run knock.
