The stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) as Melbourne Renegades Women are set to host Brisbane Heat Women in the final on Sunday at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. Both teams have battled through the highly competitive tournament and secured their place in the ultimate showdown.

Brisbane Heat's route to the final was impressive, as they managed to edge past Sydney Thunder in a high-pressure Challenger match. The Heat have been one of the standout teams this season, finishing on the second in the standings with seven wins from ten games. The Heat have been led by their star players, Grace Harris, Georgia Redmayne and Jemimah Rodrigues, who have put in match-winning performances.

The Melbourne Renegades have had an impressive campaign this season, demonstrating brilliance throughout the competition. Their path to the final was confirmed when they triumphed over Sydney Thunder in a pulsating 37th match. Renegades are topping the points table as Courtney Webb, Hayley Matthews, Sophie Molineux and Deandra Dottin have been the backbone of team across all departments.
