India women coming out with a commanding performance on Sunday in Dubai swept past Bangladesh women by 114 runs in the Women's Asian Games semi-final to secure their place in the tournament final. Deciding to bat, India posted a big total of 195/4 in 20 overs following a scintillating maiden international century from Shafali Verma, who remained unbeaten on 100 off 49 balls.
Smriti Mandhana added 37 at the top of the order as India got a flying start.
