Afghanistan name squads for Zimbabwe series

Afghanistan have announced their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Zimbabwe, with Mujeeb Ur Rahman making his return to the white-ball setup for the first time since June. He had been on the sidelines due to an injury. Batter Zubaid Akbari received his maiden call-up to the Afghanistan’s T20 squad.
Meanwhile, the side will continue to miss the services of Ibrahim Zadran, who is still recuperating from an ankle surgery, which he underwent recently. Noor Ahmad also makes the cut, but he has only been included in Afghanistan’s T20I squad. Hashmatullah Shahidi will be leading the ODI squad, while Rashid Khan will lead the T20I side. The tour will begin with T20I series on December 11.
