In a positive development for England,  their bowler Saqib Mahmood has been granted the necessary visa to travel to India ahead of the five-match T20I series against India. The visa approval comes as a significant relief for Mahmood, who had been facing complications regarding his travel.

He had earlier faced delays in receiving visa, which had also forced him to miss the England training camp in the UAE. He was scheduled to participate in a fast-bowling camp in Abu Dhabi ahead of the series. The camp was being led by legendary James Anderson

The camp included the likes of Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Brydon Carse and Mark Wood. The five-match T20I series, meanwhile, is expected to be an exciting contest, with both teams eager to build momentum. The series will begin on January 22 with the first game at Eden Gardens.
