South Africa’s power-hitter batter David Miller has taken aim at the Champions Trophy schedule after his team’s loss to New Zealand in the semi-final 2 on Wednesday in Lahore. Australia and South Africa both had to travel to Dubai from Pakistan ahead of the semi-finals.

Following India's win over New Zealand in their third group stage match, South Africa who travelled to Dubai, flew back to Pakistan as the second semifinal of the mega event was scheduled to take place in Lahore. Australia, meanwhile, faced India in the semi-final 1 in Dubai.

"It's only an hour and 40 minute flight, but the fact that we had to do that was not ideal. It's early morning, it's after a game and we had to fly. Then we got to Dubai at 4:00 pm. And at 7.30 am we had to come back. It doesn't make it nice. It's not like we flew five hours, and we had enough time to recover and recuperate, but it was not an ideal situation still,” Miller said after South Africa’s defeat against New Zealand.

Talking about the match, David Miller smashed a hard-fought century but South Africa failed to reach past New Zealand humongous total of 362. South Africa finished on 312/9 in 50 overs, losing the game by 50 runs. New Zealand will now face India in the final on Sunday in Dubai.
