After witnessing eye-catching fixtures during the group stage, it all now has come down to these two teams who have earned their place in the final through very different paths.
Mumbai Indians secured their spot in the final in a dramatic fashion, overcoming Gujarat Giants in the eliminator. Mumbai put in an exceptional performance, shining across all departments to ensure their place in the final. Hayley Matthews and Nat Sciver-Brunt starred in the batting department, scoring 77 runs each. With their backs against the wall, Mumbai’s victory was a testament to their never-say-die attitude, and they now have their eyes set firmly on the trophy.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals had a slightly different journey to the final. Finishing at the top of the points table after the league stages, they were one of the most consistent and dominant teams throughout the season. Their strong all-round performances have made them a formidable force, with players like Meg Lanning, Shafali Verma, Annabel Sutherland and Marizanne Kapp standing out with both bat and ball.
