India elect to bowl in high-stakes Asia Cup Final against Pakistan

India have won the toss and decided to bowl first in the much-anticipated final of the Asia Cup 2025 against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium. With both teams vying for the continental title, the stage is set for a blockbuster showdown. Notably, India and Pakistan are facing each other in a final for the first time in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup.

India come into the final unbeaten, having looked dominant throughout the tournament. Their most notable victories include two commanding wins over Pakistan, one in the group stage and the other during the Super Four, which will undoubtedly provide them an edge heading into the final. India, meanwhile, have suffered a major blow, as they will miss the services of key all-rounder Hardik PandyaRinku Singh and Shivam Dube have been brought back into the team.

Pakistan, on the other hand, have had a mixed journey to the final. Despite two losses, both inflicted by India, they bounced back strongly to secure their spot in the final. This is their final chance to flip the script and exact revenge on their greatest rivals.
