London Spirit have confirmed the appointment of Andy Flower as their new men's head coach ahead of the 2026 season of The Hundred, marking a significant move in their bid to revive fortunes after a poor campaign. Andy Flower takes over from Justin Langer, who parted ways with the team after just one season, having guided Spirit to a disappointing seventh-place finish out of eight teams.

Flower's arrival also reunites him with London Spirit’s director of cricket, Mo Bobat. The pair most recently collaborated with spectacular success in the 2025 Indian Premier League, steering Royal Challengers Bengaluru to their first-ever IPL title. Flower is enormously experienced, having worked in franchise competitions in Pakistan, West Indies and UAE.

"I'm hugely excited to be joining London Spirit and to be working at the Home of Cricket. It's a real privilege to be part of such an iconic venue and organisation. I'm also thrilled to be working once again with Mo, and for the first time with both MCC and the Tech Titans,” Flower said.

Flower previously coached the Trent Rockets for five years and took them to a title win in 2022.
