Kuldeep Yadav released from India's T20I squad

India's left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav is set to miss the final two T20Is against Australia after being released from the squad in order to prepare for the upcoming Test series against South Africa. Kuldeep has been added to the India A squad for the second four-day game against South Africa A starting on November 6 at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

"The Indian team management has requested to release Kuldeep Yadav from the ongoing T20I series in Australia to allow him to participate in the India A series against South Africa A at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The second four-day match starts on 6th November," the BCCI said in an official statement.

"The decision has been taken to provide Kuldeep with red-ball game time in preparation for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa," the statement added.

During the course of the Australia series, Yadav played one of the three ODIs and the first two T20Is.
