Teen prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi's blazing knock shatters records

Teen sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed 144 off just 42 balls as India A decimated the UAE in their opening game of the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025. The prodigious effort not only took India A to a mammoth total but also etched Suryavanshi’s name into the record books.
Suryavanshi reached his hundred in 32 deliveries, making it the joint-second fastest T20 century by an Indian. It is also the joint fifth-fastest hundred in all men's T20s. His knock was filled with 11 fours and a breathtaking 15 sixes. Moreover, his strike rate for the innings was a staggering 342.85, ranking among the highest ever recorded for a T20 century.
On top of that, at 14 years and 232 days, he became the youngest man ever to score a hundred for a national side at senior level. His record shattered the previous benchmark set by Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim, who was 16 years and 171 days when he scored 111* for Bangladesh A back in 2005.
