Australia's firebrand batter Sam Konstas is all set to step back onto the international stage after being included in the Prime Minister's XI to face England later this month. This is Konstas' first opportunity against an overseas team since his axing following a poor start to the summer.

The talented batter has been named in the squad for the two-day pink-ball match in Canberra. The PM's XI vs England XI two-day tour match will be played on November 29-30. Peter Handscomb will lead the PM's team amid the presence of veteran pacer Peter Siddle.

The game will be a crucial fixture for England in their Ashes campaign, offering England crucial preparation under lights ahead of the day-night Test at the Gabba. For Konstas, the match gives an opportunity to reassert his dominance in order to make a way for himself for the national side.

Prime Minister's XI to face England: Peter Handscomb (c), Benji Floros, Campbell Kellaway, Campbell Thompson, Charlie Anderson, Doug Warren, Hugh Weibgen, Joel Curtis, Nathan McSweeney, Oliver Peake, Peter Siddle, Sam Konstas, Samuel Skelly
