WPL 2026 squads, purse remaining for all teams

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 auction on Tuesday delivered another day of high drama, surprises, and record-breaking bids. One of the biggest headlines of the day came when UP Warriorz exercised their Right to Match (RTM) card to reclaim Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma for a staggering ₹3.2 crore.
Deepti, who was named player of the ODI World Cup recently, became the joint second-most expensive player in WPL auction history. New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr became the most expensive overseas player ever purchased in a WPL auction after Mumbai Indians secured her for ₹3 crore.
India’s Shikha Pandey also surprised everyone after she was acquired by UP Warriorz for ₹2.4 crore. Equally surprising, though for different reasons, was the fate of Australian legend Alyssa Healy, who went unsold.
