BBL 2025-26, Brisbane Heat v Adelaide Strikers: All you need to know

In the 13th match of the ongoing Big Bash League, Brisbane Heat will host Adelaide Strikers on Saturday in a high-voltage clash at the Gabba in Brisbane. Heat recorded a spectacular win in their last match at the Gabba, knocking down Perth Scorchers in a record-breaking win. Following centuries from Matt Renshaw and Jack Wildermuth, Heat completed a successful chase of 257 to register a magnificent win.
Both players forged a 212-run partnership to secure an eight-wicket win in 19.5 overs. The Heat's chase was the biggest in BBL history. Stand-in captain Xavier Bartlett, meanwhile, will continue to lead after assuming captaincy during the previous game against Thunder. Nathan McSweeney is battling an ankle injury.
Adelaide Strikers, on the other hand, would head into the contest on the back of a defeat in their previous game against Melbourne Stars. So far, Strikers have played two games in the tournament, winning one and losing another. However, they will be eager to make a quick turnaround to bring their campaign back on track.
