Namibia announce squad for T20 World Cup 2026, Erasmus at the helm

Namibia have named their squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, as the African side gear up for their fourth consecutive appearance at the marquee event, set to be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8, 2026. 

All-rounder Gerhard Erasmus will lead the side. Namibia secured their place at the T20 World Cup after a convincing win over Tanzania in the Africa Regional Qualifier, finishing top among the continent’s associate nations. Erasmus remains a powerful figure in the Namibian setup due to his powerful batting and handy bowling. They are in Group A alongside India, USA, Netherlands and Pakistan.
