Hardik Pandya makes blistering return to the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya announced his return to the Vijay Hazare Trophy in a destructive fashion. Playing for Baroda against Vidarbha on Saturday at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Khandheri, Rajkot, the all-rounder produced a breathtaking century that lit up the showdown. Batting at No. 4, Hardik constructed his innings in style, maintaining a measured approach.
At one stage, he was 66 off 62 balls. But what followed was a massive shift that completely altered the momentum of the innings. Over the next 30 deliveries, Hardik exploded, scoring 67 runs and dismantling the Vidarbha bowling attack.
The most eye-catching moment came in the 39th over, which was bowled by left-arm spinner Parth Rekhade. Hardik took on the spinner, smashing five consecutive sixes before finishing the over with a boundary. In the 39th over, Pandya collected 34 runs, propelling him to a blistering century in 68 balls. Hardik finally departed for a magnificent 133 off 92 balls, powering his side to a competitive total of 293/9 in 50 overs.
