West Indies announce squad for T20 World Cup
West Indies have announced their squad for the upcoming T20I World Cup 2026, with Shai Hope set to lead the side. The squad features a whole host of prominent stars such as Roston Chase, Jason Holder, Sherfane Rutherford, Rovman Powell and Romario Shepherd.
West Indies are in Group C alongside England, Nepal, Italy and Scotland. They will begin their campaign in the World Cup by taking on Scotland on February 7 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Meanwhile, they have brought in Quentin Sampson, who recently made his T20I debut in the series against Afghanistan in Dubai. He scored only 35 runs across three innings, but the selectors have shown faith in the youngster.
