South Africa have announced the women’s T20I and ODI squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Pakistan, scheduled to be played at home between February and March. The series forms a crucial part of South Africa’s build-up to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which will take place in England during June and July.

Kayla Reyneke has earned her maiden international call-up. Reyneke previously led South Africa at the Under-19 Women’s World Cup and has continued to impress with her performances at the domestic level. The tour will begin with a three-match T20Is, set to be played on February 10, 13 and 16, respectively. Following the T20Is, the teams will lock horns in a three-match ODI series. There are four changes to the squad for the ODI leg compared to the T20I lineup. Lara Goodall, Faye Tunnicliffe, Nondumiso Shangase and Tumi Sekhukhune have been included for the ODI matches. They replace Ayabonga Khaka, Sinalo Jafta Klaas, Kayla Reyneke and experienced all-rounder Dane van Niekerk.
