Star-studded commentary line-up announced for T20 World Cup 2026

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the commentary panel for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to begin on February 7, with India and Sri Lanka co-hosting the marquee event. The tournament, featuring 55 matches, will have some of the most respected voices narrating the action in the game. Headlining the commentary roster are some of the most iconic broadcasters in modern cricket. 

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri, who brings deep understanding of the game, features in the list. England great Nasser Hussain, New Zealand’s Ian Smith and West Indies legend Ian Bishop complete a formidable leading group. South Africa’s Test captain Temba Bavuma will also feature as a commentator.  Talking about India's campaign, they will kick off their campaign on February 7 itself by facing USA in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Australia’s Aaron Finch, Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara, India’s Dinesh Karthik and Robin Uthappa, and West Indies heroes Carlos Brathwaite and Samuel Badree will all be seen doing commentary.
