Bangladesh reveal central contacts, Mushfiqur Rahim moved to Grade B
Bangladesh have revealed the central contracts for their men's side, encompassing the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Pacer Taskin Ahmed, who stood alone in the A+ category last year, has been moved down to Grade A following an injury-hit season.
An Achilles problem in February disrupted his rhythm and ruled him out of red-ball cricket entirely, as he did not feature in a single Test match in 2025.
Veteran wicketkeeper-batter Mushfiqur Rahim has also seen a change in grading, dropping to Grade B after stepping away from ODIs in March last year. Meanwhile, players like Shadman Islam, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Rishad Hossain, and Shak Mahedi Hasan have been moved to Grade B.
