Australia beat India women by 10 wickets in One-Off Test at Perth

Australia Women registered a commanding 10-wicket victory over India Women in the one-off day-night Test at the W.A.C.A. Ground in Perth on Sunday, wrapping up the proceedings inside three days. Australia dominated the pink-ball Test across three days, chasing a small target comfortably after toppling India’s batting lineup in the second innings. Posting a formidable 323 in their first innings, Australia swung the momentum decisively in their favour after India were bowled out for 198, carrying a crucial 125-run lead.
All-rounder Annabel Sutherland was the standout performer, scoring a brilliant 129 off 171 balls. It was her fourth Test century and continued her remarkable run in the longest format. Veteran batter Ellyse Perry also played a key role with 76 runs. India Women, meanwhile, fought back in their second innings but failed to build significant partnerships. They were bowled out for 149, setting Australia a modest target of 25 runs to win. For India, young batter Pratika Rawal was the lone warrior, scoring a determined 63, the highest score of India’s second innings.
However, the rest of the lineup struggled against disciplined bowling from Australia’s attack, with Alana King, Lucy Hamilton and Ashleigh Gardner among the key wicket-takers who triggered a collapse. Australia needed 25 runs in the fourth innings and chased down the target without losing a wicket. Openers Phoebe Litchfield and Georgia Voll completed the run chase, scoring (11) and (16), respectively.
