Ireland unveil star-studded home season, featuring T20Is against India

Ireland’s cricket calendar is set to be full of action, with both the men’s and women’s teams preparing for a demanding stretch of fixtures at home and away. The men’s side will headline the home season with a historic Test match against New Zealand. Shortly after, Ireland will welcome India, who recently won the T20 World Cup title, for a T20 series in late June. The summer will continue into August with a five-match ODI series against Afghanistan. In the away assignment, Ireland’s men’s team will also embark on a white-ball series in Nepal.
Additional tours include a visit to the United Arab Emirates and, notably, a landmark multi-format tour of Pakistan in early 2027 — Ireland’s first-ever series in the country against the Pakistan. The women’s side is equally busy, with preparations centred around the upcoming cycle of the ICC Women's Championship. Ireland will host several top-tier teams, including India women, New Zealand women, Pakistan women and West Indies women.
Their away tours include visits to England, Australia, Zimbabwe, and Sri Lanka. The season begins with a home series against West Indies in July, followed by a tour of England in September and a trip to Zimbabwe in early 2027. A major highlight for the women’s team will be their participation in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled to take place in England and Wales. To fine-tune their preparations, Ireland will host a tri-series in May featuring West Indies and Pakistan.
