BCCI reveals India's pulsating international home schedule

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed Team India's (men) international home schedule for 2026-27, with the upcoming season set to deliver months of high-octane action. The season will feature visits from four teams β€” West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia. In total, 22 matches will be played across 17 venues. The home season begins in late September 2026 when West Indies land in India for a white-ball tour. 

The series opens with three ODIs, scheduled in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh. Following the ODIs, both sides will lock horns in a T20I series, with five T20Is lined up in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Sri Lanka will then tour India in December 2026 for a limited-overs assignment. 

The ODI leg will take place in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. The T20Is will follow, with matches hosted in Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune. The new year will commence with Zimbabwe’s visit in January 2027. Their tour will have three ODIs, scheduled to be played in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. 

Finally, the grand finale of the season will witness the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a high-profile five-match Test series against Australia. The series starts on January 21, 2027, in Nagpur and will be played in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad, respectively.
