Juairiya Ferdous earns maiden ODI call-up as Bangladesh reveal squad for Sri Lanka ODIs

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has unveiled a 15-player squad for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka, with batter Sarmin Sultana coming back into the ODI side for the first time in seven years. Another positive in the squad is the inclusion of young wicketkeeper-batter Juairiya Ferdous, who has earned her first-ever ODI selection at just 20 years of age. 

Though she is yet to make her ODI debut, she has got some international exposure through seven T20I appearances. The team will be led by Nigar Sultana. The visiting Sri Lankan side is scheduled to land in Bangladesh on April 17 before heading straight to Rajshahi. The city will host all three matches of the ODI series at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium. The matches are set for April 20, 22, and 25, respectively.
