IPL 2026: RCB look to turbocharge assault against GT in high-voltage clash

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are preparing to face Gujarat Titans in match 34 of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday. The face-off is pretty significant with both teams looking to recover from recent setbacks. Royal Challengers Bengaluru enter the match in rather strong shape, having sealed four wins from their first six outings, showing consistency and rhythm. Their batting unit has been the backbone of their success, delivering under pressure.
However, their recent narrow loss to Delhi Capitals exposed some concerns, particularly in closing out innings with the ball. Addressing death bowling will be a big priority for RCB heading into the match against GT. So far, the head-to-head record between the two sides stands at 3–3, which will make this battle incredibly challenging for both teams.
Gujarat Titans, meanwhile, have experienced much tougher times. Initially, after building momentum with a series of victories that lifted them into the top half of the standings, they stumbled badly in their previous game. A batting collapse while chasing a challenging target of 200 against Mumbai Indians, where they were bowled out for 100, has put them under huge pressure. GT, however, would look to quickly regain momentum to assert authority against RCB.
