IPL 2026: RR shift base to Jaipur, prepare to host SRH

Rajasthan Royals are finally gearing up to return to Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, as they are set to host Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday. RR, after beginning their home campaign in Guwahati, where they mounted an impressive record, are shifting base to Jaipur, hoping to recreate dominance there too. They stormed out of the gates with four consecutive wins on the bounce. Despite briefly losing their rhythm with back-to-back defeats, RR regained control following a spirited victory over Lucknow.
A lot of their success has come from a dependable batting group featuring Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, and Dhruv Jurel, who have consistently delivered runs and stability at the top and middle of the order.
Meanwhile, SRH also descend in Jaipur with huge momentum on their side. A string of three consecutive victories has revitalised their campaign, and they now look to extend that streak away from home. In the absence of their regular leader and key bowler Pat Cummins, SRH have seen other players step up to help the side. Eshan Malinga has been impressive, while debutant Sakib Hussain has turned heads with his performances. Dilshan Madushanka also made a strong impact in the previous match, returning with a key wicket.
Hyderabad’s batting lineup has been equally formidable. The aggressive opening pair of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma has provided explosive starts, while Heinrich Klaasen has anchored the middle order with authority and consistency. Now, heading into this match, both sides would eye rollicking performances to outplay each other.
