Bangladesh’s rising pace sensation Nahid Rana is set to return to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 season after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) granted him a fresh No-Objection Certificate (NOC). He will now rejoin Peshawar Zalmi ahead of the tournament final scheduled for May 3.

Earlier, the BCB had allowed Nahid to participate in the PSL only until April 13, after which he was withdrawn to manage his workload. However, with the Zalmi storming into the final and Nahid in exceptional rhythm, the board has changed its stance, allowing him to return for the high-stakes finale.

During his initial stint with Peshawar Zalmi this season, he was a standout performer, claiming seven wickets in four matches. One of his most memorable outings came against Karachi Kings, where he produced a devastating spell of 3 for 7.

"Considering the importance of participating in the final of a major global franchise tournament, this has been viewed as an important step in the player's continued development," BCB said in a statement on Wednesday.

"More importantly, the team management and medical department have cleared him, ensuring that his participation will not have any adverse impact on his fitness, workload management or availability for national duty," it added.
