India have held on to the top spot in the latest ICC T20I team rankings, staying ahead of big teams like England and Australia, who occupy the second and third spots respectively. India's massive achievement comes on the back of a historic campaign earlier this year, where they successfully defended their T20 World Cup title. India also became the first team ever to retain the title while also extending their record to three championships.

In the current rankings, England sit comfortably in second position with 262 rating points, while Australia follow closely with 258 points, with the rest of the top seven teams remaining unchanged. New Zealand (247), South Africa (244), Pakistan (240), and West Indies (233) are the other teams in top 10 to hold on to their positions.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh have climbed to eighth position with 225 points, overtaking Sri Lanka, who have slipped to ninth spot after losing six rating points. They now have 221 points.
