Virat Kohli and Travis Head went viral following the clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday in Hyderabad. After a fiery on-field exchange, things escalated into a full-blown social media storm after the customary post-match handshake appeared to be ignored by Kohli despite Travis Head initiating the offer. During RCB’s chase against SRH, tensions peaked between Kohli and Head in the middle overs after cameras captured animated words being exchanged between both of them.

As per reports, Head verbally challenged Kohli during the innings to smash big shots, prompting a sharp response from Kohli. The former RCB captain appeared visibly fired up after a conversation with the Australian batter and later lost his wicket for 15 off 11.

During the customary post-match handshakes, Kohli appeared to walk past Head without greeting him, despite the SRH opener extending his hand. Meanwhile, SRH beat RCB by 55 runs. Deciding to bat, SRH posted 255/4 in 20 overs, riding on half-centuries from Ishan Kishan (79), Abhishek Sharma (56) and Heinrich Klaasen (51).

For RCB, things did not go well for them during the chase after Virat Kohli (15) and Devdutt Paddikal (21) departed early. Rajat Patidar (56) and Krunal Pandya (41*) tried their best to revive the chase, but their innings could not make any difference, with RCB finishing at 200/4 in 20 overs.
