Rajasthan Royals sealed their place in the IPL playoffs with an impressive 30-run victory over Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. In a high-pressure clash, Rajasthan kept their composure in all departments to outplay Mumbai and secured a blistering win in their final league-stage match.

Chasing a target of 206, Mumbai Indians endured a disastrous start as Rohit Sharma was dismissed without opening his account, while Ryan Rickelton departed after scoring 12 runs. The early setbacks put Mumbai onto the back foot early on. Suryakumar Yadav fought valiantly and kept Mumbai’s hopes alive for some time with a classy knock of 60 from 42 balls. But he got little support from the other end as MI were limited to 175/9 in 20 overs.

Dasun Shanaka chipped in with a quick 29, and Jofra Archer surprised everyone with an entertaining 32-run cameo.
