India rest Siraj for England and Ireland T20Is, Prasidh Krishna brought in

Prasidh Krishna has replaced fast bowler Mohammed Siraj in India's squad for the upcoming T20I series against England and Ireland, with the management withdrawing Siraj to manage his workload.
"Following discussions between the BCCI Medical Team and the Team Management, Siraj has been advised a period of rest as part of his workload management programme. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure adequate recovery ahead of a long international season," the BCCI said in a release.
Prasidh Krishna was recently involved in the IPL 2026 where he represented Gujarat Titans, taking 16 wickets in 12 matches. On the other hand, Siraj, who is Prasidh's teammate, played 17 games and took 17 wickets.
For India, Prasidh Krishna, overall, has played five T20Is and taken eight wickets. Notably, Prasidh is also part of India's squad for the upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan, beginning on Sunday.
