Delhi-born Nikhil Choudhary added to Australia's squad for Bangladesh T20Is

Australia, in their squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, have added Delhi-born, uncapped spinner Nikhil Choudhary. The young all-rounder, who demonstrated his incredible skills in the BBL for Hobart Hurricanes, has been brought into the side in place of Travis Head.
Meanwhile, Mitchell Marsh, who is not part of the ongoing ODI series due to an ankle injury, has been named in the squad and is expected to recover in time to lead the side. The squad also features the likes of Cooper Connolly, Tim David, Nathan Ellis, Cameron Green and Josh Inglis.
“Nikhil has been a player of national interest for some time. He was a standby player for this tour, joining the squad at pre-season camps in Brisbane and comes in as a replacement for Travis Head," Dodemaide said.
“The panel has been impressed by his BBL form, particularly last season, leading to his addition to the squad. He has also been part of the Delhi Capitals setup in this year’s IPL.
“Nikhil will gain invaluable experience in Bangladesh and will be in contention to play his first game for Australia when we sit down to pick a team for the opening T20 fixture here next week.”
The T20I series will begin on June 17, followed by the second and third matches on June 19 and 21, respectively. All matches will be played in Chattogram.
