India are set to face Ireland in a two-match T20I series beginning on Friday in Belfast. The defending champions, who are riding on the success of back-to-back T20 World Cup wins, will begin an important chapter. The series is India's first T20I assignment since a major leadership transition. Shreyas Iyer has been handed the captaincy, taking over from Suryakumar Yadav. With the management eyeing key decisions regarding team combinations and future planning, this series will provides an ideal platform for experimentation.
