Suryakumar Yadav reveals the one skill he would steal from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav was recently asked which quality from another cricketer he would like to add to his own game, and he picked batting star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's six-hitting ability, overlooking many talented stars. Sooryavanshi has been on the rise since his breakout performance at the IPL 2026.
Appearing for Rajasthan Royals, he slammed 776 runs in 16 matches at an astonishing strike rate of 237.31. His exceptional performance also earned him the Orange Cap as the tournament's leading run-scorer as well as the Most Valuable Player award.
Notably, he finished the IPL 2026 with 72 sixes, shattering Chris Gayle's record for the most sixes in a single IPL season. After the IPL, Sooryavanshi also became India's youngest-ever senior international player when he made his T20I debut at the age of 15 years and 99 days.
"There is a young boy, you must have heard his name - Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Definitely his six-hitting ability," Suryakumar Yadav said on 'Humans of Bombay' YouTube hannel.
As for Suryakumar Yadav, he went through torrid times at the IPL 2026, scoring 270 runs in 12 innings. However, his leadership played a key role in guiding India to the T20I World Cup title win earlier this year.
