India seek consistency as they meet England in third T20I

Having endured a torrid period, India are preparing to face England in the third T20I, set to be held at Trent Bridge on Tuesday. Heading into this match, India have so much to improve, as they are yet to register a victory, having failed to adjust to the challenging conditions in UK. They suffered defeats in three of their four matches on the tour, including a series loss to Ireland before coming to England. For the third T20I against England, the men in blue are expected to tinker with their playing combination as they hope to stay competitive in the series.
In the second game, India went down by four wickets despite posting a competitive total of 190. India's leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi was quite expensive, struggling to make an impact. His outing in Manchester was hugely difficult, as he conceded 60 runs and went wicketless, allowing England to take control of the game. And for England, it was Jacob Bethell, who played a glorious knock of 76 to launch the side to victory. For India, this match is very important if they want to stay alive in the series because a loss would make things rather difficult for them.
Meanwhile, conditions in Trent Bridge are expected to offer assistance to batters, making things easier for Indian batters who relish playing in such conditions. Young opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will look to play with greater freedom after making his first international debut in the second game. So far, Abhishek Sharma has been India's standout performer with the bat, consistently maintaining an attacking approach.
England, on the other hand, are filled with confidence after comfortably taking a 1-0 lead with a win in the second game. They have executed their plans nicely with both bat and ball and will be aiming for another superb outing. However, openers Phil Salt and Jos Buttler are under huge pressure after registering ducks in the last game. Notably, England have named an unchanged playing XI for the third match.
