Prince Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi brought in as replacements for Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy for upcoming white-ball series

India have been made changes to their white-ball squads for the upcoming assignments against England and Zimbabwe following the absence of Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy, who have been sidelined due to tehri respective injuries. Fast bowler Prince Yadav and leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi have been drafted into the squads. India are set to play an ODI series against England before travelling to Zimbabwe for a T20I series. 

Harshit Rana experienced discomfort in his right hamstring while playing in the third T20I against England recently. Medical examinations later confirmed a Grade 1 hamstring strain, ruling him out of the upcoming ODI series. As part of his recovery process, Rana will undergo further evaluation and rehabilitation at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence.  Varun Chakaravarthy also picked up a hamstring injury in the same match. The spinner reported pain in his left hamstring, and subsequent MRI scans revealed a Grade 2 strain. 

"Rana reported a sudden onset of discomfort in his right hamstring during the third T20I against England at Trent Bridge. Subsequent scans revealed a Grade 1 hamstring injury. He has been ruled out of the forthcoming ODI series against England and will report to the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) for further assessment and management," BCCI said in a release.

"Chakaravarthy also reported a sudden onset of discomfort in his left hamstring during the third T20I against England. An MRI scan subsequently revealed a Grade 2 hamstring injury. Based on specialist medical advice, he has been ruled out of the upcoming T20I series against Zimbabwe. He will report to the BCCI COE for further management.

Prince Yadav has been named both in India's ODI and T20I squads. While, Ravi Bishnoi has been included in only the T20I squad for Zimbabwe series.
