West Indies name squad for Pakistan Tests
West Indies have revealed a 15-member squad for the upcoming two-match home Test series against Pakistan, with Joshua Bishop set to make his Test debut after earning a place in the Test setup. West Indies have also handed Kirk McKenzie another opportunity in the longest format, recalling the batter for the first time since his last Test appearance in 2024.
Meanwhile, fast bowler Alzarri Joseph was not considered for selection due to personal commitments. The series is scheduled between July 25 and August 6. The opening match will take place at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba. This will be a historic occasion as the venue prepares to host its first-ever Test match.
The second Test will be played at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain. Roston Chase will lead the side that also includes players like Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Joshua Da Silva, Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge and Shai Hope.
