ZIM vs IND, 3rd T20I: Sooryavanshi blitz helps India comeplete series whitewash

India secured a convincing 35-run victory over Zimbabwe in the third and final T20I on Sunday at Harare, completing a 3-0 series sweep. Deciding to bat, India made an impressive start following an outstanding innings from young opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who maintained a fearless approach to compile an impressive 81 from 49 balls.
During his splendid knock, the teen prodigy blasted eight boundaries and four sixes. There were also valuable contributions from Ishan Kishan, scoring 29; captain Shreyas Iyer, chipping in with 27; and Rinku Singh, providing late impetus with 25 runs. Their performances helped India finish with a score of 192/5 in 20 overs.
Zimbabwe, chasing the target, suffered early setbacks as India's bowlers struck regularly in the opening overs, taking out Brian Bennett (0) and Sikandar Raza (0) early. Ryan Burl fought back, scoring 54 runs in an attempt to keep Zimbabwe's hopes alive. However, his resistance went in vain as he received little support from the other batters. India's bowling attack, meanwhile, maintained control throughout the innings, restricting Zimbabwe to 157/7 in 20 overs.
